Blaqbook Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) outlines how the Blaqbook Experience (the “Blaqbook”, “we”, “our”, “us”) handles your (also referred to as the “User”) personal information collected through our App. Please read this Policy before using our services or submitting personal information to us.

By submitting personal information, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data, including any processing, disclosures, and transfers to third parties in accordance with this Policy. Any consent you provide is entirely voluntary. If you do not accept this Policy, please do not submit any personal information to us.

We may update this Policy at any time by publishing an updated version on our App including the effective date of the amended version. The new modified Policy will be in force from the revision date.

Personal Information
Personal information, also known as personally identifiable information and personal data, refers to information that can be used to identify, locate, or contact an individual, alone or when combined with other personal or identifying information. Examples of personal information include name, address, telephone number, and so forth.

Sensitive information is personal information that includes information or an opinion about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, religious, political opinions, health, etc. We do not collect any sensitive information.

We collect only the personal information necessary to provide you services or fulfill your requests.

• Information we collect from you
• We collect personal information when you register for access to the App or contact us with inquiries. This information includes:
• Your full name
• Mobile number

When searching through the App you can either allow your phone’s contacts to be downloaded or you can search a name via people who are on the App. When you choose the first option, you give the App permission to access your contact list: names and mobile numbers. This feature is used only to facilitate your App user experience and your contact list is not being used for any other purposes.

• Automatically collected information

We automatically log certain information when users access the App. This information may include the User’s internet protocol address, browser type, geolocation, cookie information, pages and content viewed, date and time stamps, and so forth. This information is used for general business analysis to understand the App usage trends and performance.

• Cookies

Cookies are small data files stored on a user’s computer or internet-enabled device that serve a number of purposes such as enhancing the User’s on-line experience when visiting the App by remembering elections made, login details, other inputs. Cookies by themselves do not identify you personally. After you finish browsing the App, it is possible for you to delete cookies from your system if you choose to do so. Data security
We have reasonable security procedures in place to protect personal information from unauthorized loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. All personal data is stored on a secure server and User passwords are stored in encrypted text. Any access to your personal data is restricted on a need-to-know basis for our employees, contractors and partners who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations. However, despite our best efforts, security cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as totally secure.
